Here's Mike Myers giving a hilarious speech directed at Sean Connery during the recent AFI awards when they bestowed upon Connery a lifetime achievement award. It's hard in a speech to be funny while also maintaining suitable respect for the subject but I think Myers pulls it off admirably.

Here's David Letterman's take on the inaccuracies in the Paris Hilton interview with Larry King. The funniest thing about this is how simple the gag is.
There is no voice over or jokes, just a counter and a bell.
And it's very, very funny

Avril Lavigne has done very well with the original version of Girlfriend so far, so it should come as no suprise when the record companies decide to try to extend its marketing potential with an equally catchy remix featuring hip hop star Lil' Mama. Enjoy.

This clip shows how brutal and aggressive the Transformers are going to be in the new film. Watch this Transformers clip online and then try to imagine what it's going to look like on a gigantic movie screen with Dolby Digital and lots of sub-woofers. For a film like this you need to have a big tub of buttery popcorn and a drink three times larger then your bladder.

Here's Mika singing the catchy as hell, Grace Kelly, off his debut album, Life In Cartoon Motion. The whole album is just full of creative music and deicious lyrics. This single was released for download in the UK in January 2007 and made it to number one in the singles charts one week after it's debut. Currently 'Grace Kelly' is the biggest single of 2007 in the UK so far.

This commercial for a mobile phone company is just the sort of viral video that gets emailed around the world from co-worker to co-worker. It's funny, it has an original concept and it's executed very, very well. Hamsters are always cute and funny - and hamster violence is just good fun.

Spy vs Spy was originally (and still is) a feature cartoon of MAD magazine.
But of course with it's popularity it was bound to take the leap onto the small screen sometime.
Here is a compilation of Spy vs Spy clips that are short and sweet but still have that satirical edge that made them great.
The first thing that comes to mind as I watch them is the brilliant Itchy and Scratchy shorts from the iconic Simpsons animated series.
Spy vs Spy - Cat's Cradle
Spy vs Spy - Mirror
Spy vs Spy - Telephone
Spy vs Spy - Karate School

You have to wonder if this young Japanese girl ever meant for this to be viewed by the whole of YouTube. It is at once fascinating to wait and wonder what she'll do next and disturbing that, with the advent of the internet, we have all become either self obsessed or voyeurs. You watch just wondering if something will happen - and it never does.

Here's William Shatner singing the original Star Trek theme live at the 2005 Emmy Awards. Standing next to him is mezzo-soprano Frederica Von Stade. It's never a pretty site seeing Shatner do anything these days but for the sheer kitsche value of this it's worth a watch.
