Fido just looks like a scrumptious good time. Take a light and breezy suburban paradise and add a bunch of rotting, flesh eating zombies and you have high camp and satire just waiting to boil over. Like Shaun of the Dead before it, Fido looks like it's trying to bend the most unlikely genres together into one big bowl of comedy.
Unfortunately for Microsoft, this just about sums up the underwhelming reaction that Windows Vista is getting. They spent 5 years and who knows how many billion dollars and people are just saying, no thanks. The better that MAC virtualisation software gets at having XP side by side with OS X, the more I'm drawn to getting a MAC and ditch PCs permanently.
Goldfrapp are a little too rich for my tastes but this song always makes me think of the film, Hard Candy and the psuedo love of Goldfrapp that the main characters have. When I look at this clip I think that there's nothing new under the sun. The 70's have just reemerged and taken on a new life of their own.
Before she started making serious money on the hit TV show, LOST, Evangeline Lilly had to pay for groceries by doing cheesy dating commercials. I for one don't know what Kate was thinking - I mean she has that US Marshall on her tail and she's wanted for blowing up her stepfather and has the nerve to do television ads?
Even Money is a film about the dangers and reality of living with gambling addictions. The thing that you notice straight away is the knockout ensemble cast - by the time they read out all the Academy Award winners and nominees you could have added another thirty seconds of movie scenes. If you like your cinema grim and straight faced, keep on the lookout for Even Money.
As the hype of Transformers continues to grow, the studios are releasing more information and revealing more of the character designs. This trailer is the most revealing so far and gives a good sense of the good versus evil battle that takes over the Earth. Fans of the original cartoon will be glad to hear the original sound for 'transformations' has been retained.
After having a smash hit with This Ain't a Scene , Fall Out Boy are back with the followup single, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. The song is already doing well and with a good satirical video featuring moneys, I'm sure it will get bucketloads of screentime on MTV. Bob, can I buy a vowel for 200, please?
This is a pretty damn impressive collection of film quotes and clips that count down from 100 to 1. How you would remember snippets of dialog from all those films is pretty incredible - I wonder how much research went into finding all the different number references. The best part is watching and rewatching it to try to guess all the films yourself.
For those of you who must know what they are, I am publishing the full list from the author's website, after the jump.
This clip is taken from one of the funniest episodes of Malcolm in the Middle
ever. Malcolm asks his dad to teach him how to roller skate and unleashes the roller skating diva and a soundtrack consisting of 'Funky Town' by Lipps Inc. I kid you not that my wife was actually crying hysterical tears from laughing so hard when she first saw this episode on TV.
Warning: This teaser trailer is NSFW and contains beheadings and other over the top acts of violence.
After putting the Rocky franchise to bed last year, director Sylvester Stallone is trying his luck one more time with another installment of Rambo. This fourth film in the series will simply be called, John Rambo. After seeing this teaser trailer, I think that it will probably find an audience but seems like a pretty agressive and violent film. Go Sly go!
