David Letterman - Spiderman in Jamba Juice
Wednesday, 30 May 2007

David Letterman's humour tends to verge on the adsurd somethimes and this is a classic example.  This clip from 'The Late Show with David Letterman' shows us that New Yorkers are pretty much immune to almost any ridiculous situation then encounter.  What would you do if you saw a dozen guys dressed up as Spiderman in your local Jamba Juice?

VH1 BWE - Interview with Michael Emerson from LOST
Tuesday, 29 May 2007

This is hilarious if you're a LOST fan. For the uninitiated, Michael Emerson plays Ben on the hit ABC TV show LOST. And to say that he has a reputation as being a bit on the creepy side is an understatement. It's good to see actors able to have fun at their character's expense and see the show from the audience's perspective. Very funny.

Boston 'More Than A Feeling'
Tuesday, 29 May 2007

Although Boston are a bit ahead of my time, this song holds up to the 'sing along with the chorus' test. More Than A Feeling was released in 1976 on their self titled album, Boston. It has since been hailed as a guitar classic and is arguably the bands most successful song. To this day it is in constant circulation on Classic Rock radio stations across the globe.

Allison Crowe 'Hallelujah'
Monday, 28 May 2007

This is a beautiful interpretation of the song, Hallelujah which was originally written by Leonard Cohen. It's a simple video that let's you concentrate on her amazing voice. As impressive as this is though, I have to say that I still think the Jeff Buckley version is the absolute best version recorded to date.

Dilbert - Never Carpool With Your Boss
Monday, 28 May 2007

I haven't really seen much of the Dilbert animated television show but as a cubicle worker myself, I find the static comics are pure gold. Here's a clip of Dilbert giving his boss a lift to work. Have fun selling the car now, Dilbert.

SiCKO - Trailer
Sunday, 27 May 2007

I don't follow along with all of Michael Moore's politics but I do respect him as a filmaker who is good at making the documentary feature a lot more entertaining. This trailer is for SiCKO his latest film which takes on the US health care system and it's obvious failings. From what I've heard this film is actually garnering support from all sides of politics.

Oprah - Working For Google
Saturday, 26 May 2007

Here's a short piece from the Oprah Winfrey show about working for Google . The segment is in recognition of Google being ranked the number one best place to work in the USA. After seeing all the free perks that employees receive, I think most people would jump at the opportunity to work for them but with 1300 resumes coming into Google every day, they can afford to only hire the best of the best.

LineRider - TD & Son, Inc.
Saturday, 26 May 2007

Tech Dawg is a well known LineRider course creator and this is a course he did with his son. It's got some nice psuedo 3D effects and a lot of different twists and turns. Overall I would say that his son is going to follow in his father's footsteps and do just as well in this niche genre as he has.

The Golden Compass - Trailer
Thursday, 24 May 2007

After the enormous success of Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter films, Hollywood is scouring literary fantasy books yet again. This time it's the 'His Dark Materials' series by Philip Pullman. After the disappointment of the recent Narnia film, I have to say that from the trailer this looks to be the real deal. I haven't read any of the books but the trailer draws me in straight away and I'm now really looking forward to its release in December (2007).
