Animation has had a real resurgence in popularity in recent years and it has inspired some very original work that stands out from the crowd. I always like to see what deisigners can come up with in regards to motion graphics and when you look at 'TYPOLUTION' you see that creative spark at work.

Conan O'Brien visits the birtplace of the Star Wars universe, Industrial Light and Magic . It starts of with some Star Wars classics and then gets really funny once he puts on the 'humiliating suit'. If only we could have seen George Lucas forced into one of those suits for the crime of introducing JarJar Binks into the Star Wars' world.

Some commercials want you to be inspired , some want to make you feel like a winner. This commercial wants you to scratch your head and wonder what they were trying to tell you. I think that Skittles probably have a viral marketing hit on their hands simply because no one have ever seen a singing bunny rabbit before and it's so strange you want to tell your friends about it.

If you're a geek and proud, then these four MAC/PC parodies will be the funniest thing you watch today. They reference a lot of comic book films but these days comic book films are mainstream cinema so most people should get the injokes. Videos like these just go to show that comedy is all about the writing. Perhaps these guys should be talking to the creators of Robot Chicken.

I haven't seen the Season 2 finale of 'The O.C.' which this sketch is parodying but I have seen enough trashy teen focussed tv to know that this is probably a lot more entertaining then the real thing. If you want the viewers to come back for another season then you have to 'stunt' the show in the final 10 minutes of the finale, and there's no better way to stunt than kill off major characters in a 'are they really dead?' kind of way.

Here's a rather trippy animation that harks back to something that the Beatles might have produced when they were going through their 'experimentation with mind-altering chemicals' phase. Inspite of the totally crazy visuals, it is very well animated and shows some real creativity with motion graphics. Are you hungry? I'm a little peckish right now...

Michael Jackson seems to have dropped out of the spotlight lately but it is worth remembering that he previously made some pretty epic video in his time. I don't think I'd seen this complete version of 'Black or White' before and I was a little suprised by the Macauley Culkin into and what it has to do with the rest of the song. Of course everybody loves the head morphs in this video and rightly so, they still hold up pretty well today.

This clip is from the experimental film, Electroma by the band Daft Punk . From all accounts the rest of the film is somewhat forgettable but most people tend to agree that this last appearance of a walking wall of flame is quite a standout. The soundtrack song is called 'Dialogue by Jackson C Frank.
