Bill Plympton is so well known for his anti-smoking cartoons that his other work is often overlooked. Here we have a short animated film about the humble guard dog protecting his master from the evils of the park. Never has a simple walk in the park been so dangerous or fraught with killer animals. This funny video clip is a nice little short from Plymton that has all his comic trademarks and crazy violent touches.

A giant post-it portrait on the wall is such a geeky but cool idea. But what do you do when you want to change the picture? Here we see a giant Elvis being swapped out for the iconic portrait of Albert Einstein. Let's hope that you don't want to change the wall too often when you have to have five or six separate people spend almost the whole day doing it.

I've never played Mahjong but if I had a cool table like this I might just learn. Will there never be an end to the invention of technology and gadgets that have the sole purpose of helping lazy humans? And I don't mean that in a bad way, I'd remote control my life if I could.

Live Free or Die Hard has to be one of the silliest titles for an action film that I have ever heard of but after seeing this full trailer I have to say that I'm excited. First came the teaser quite a while ago but this trailer has all the elements of that classic Die Hard feel. It has the over the top plot combined with the uber-villain and the fantastic explosions . And of course it has a hard as nails Bruce Willis spitting out the most delicious one liners.

I don't see a lot of really great ice hockey goals but this looks pretty nice to me. For all the Canadian visitors or those that just like to see a sliding goal between the legs, this ones for you. Ryan Malone falls off his skates and somehow manages to score between the legs of the goalie. Nice.

I haven't been able to find out any info on why Alanis Morissette would do this cover of 'My Humps' by Black Eyed Peas . I love the fact that Alanis is able to have so much fun mocking her own image with this clip. Right down to the crying depressed hysterics that she seems to get labled with so often. I suspect this was done for private consumption and was probably never meant to be unleashed to the YouTube audience but it's out there now, so why not air it here.
And for comparison, here is the original song with all it's intellectual and intelligent content intact.
Thanks for the tip, Alex .

With Spiderman 3 just around the corner, here's the official final trailer to whet your appetite. It looks like they are really trying to up the ante with this one and give us three villains for this third film. For those interested, ol' Spidey has to battle with Sandman, the New Goblin and an alien-originated Venom.

With all the new consoles released and Intel prepping quad core CPUs I thought it was time to have a look at what's coming up in next gen gameplay. With the exception of the Wii, it looks like all the newest games will have graphics to die for and fully immersive environments that are well beyond what we've encountered so far. First up is footage from Intel that shows off the ingame experience and weather effects of Alan Wake from game developer, Remedy.
From Sony's PS3 we can expect Solid Snake to return in Metal Gear Solid 4 .
On the Xbox 360 and PS3 we have the racing game to beat in 2007. Colin McRae's DiRT .
Here are two videos of stunning footage from the game CRYSIS to salivate on. Just bear in mind that you're going to have to sell a kidney to actually buy the ultra high performance PC hardware that is necessary to play this game.

What's more difficult than painting the Mona Lisa ? Using the worst graphics program in the universe, MS Paint , to do it. Watching this is both interesting and ridiculous at the same time. Why would you put yourself through such restrictions when you could use Corel Painter or Adobe Photoshop to do the same thing much, much easier.

This video has all the makings of a viral classic . A bunch of young college kids decide to see how high they can launch a bowling ball from a speeding car along the road up a homemade ramp and into the air. Of course what they didn't count on was a less than straight trajectory . And the fact that the idiots slowed the car down to see where the ball was headed. Guess where that was?
This video even became well known enough to feature on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'
