If you want to keep the magic of David Copperfield alive in your pure heart, then please don't watch this explanation of one of his better tricks.  I always find it amazing at how simple and obvious the trick is when you finally find the answer.  David Copperfield is an amazing showman though and that is what sells the trick, very few other people could really make you believe in the magic the way he does.
